Founded by Chef Suriani Samad, Sisterscookies began with a simple mission: to make baking approachable, enjoyable, and accessible to everyone.
What started as a passion for baking has grown into a trusted academy that has trained thousands of students, from complete beginners and baking enthusiasts to aspiring entrepreneurs.

In 2018, Our Purpose Expanded
For years, our focus was on teaching people how to bake. But as more students graduated, we noticed many faced the same challenge. They had the baking skills, but lacked the knowledge and confidence to turn those skills into a business of their own.
In 2018, we realised that our purpose needed to go beyond recipes and baking techniques.
Sisterscookies evolved from a baking academy into a complete learning journey, empowering students with the practical knowledge, business skills, and confidence they need to turn their passion for baking into real opportunities.
We do more than teach recipes. We help people build confidence, develop practical skills, and take the next step towards creating something of their own.
