Methods to make these mouthwatering treats!
Crumble:
- Start making the crumble topping first
- Simply add all the ingredients into the stand mixer
- Allow the ingredients to mix till it forms into a crumbly texture
- Stop the mixture once the dough reaches its desired texture
- Rest the dough into the chiller for 15-20mins before utilizing the crumble
Brownies:
- Preheat the oven at 160’c -170’c for 10-15 mins
- Melt the butter, chocolates, and vanilla essence and allow it to cool to room temperature
- In a different bowl whipped up sugar, eggs, and salt till the sugar is well dissolved.
- Add the chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and mix it till well combined
- Lastly fold in the sifted flour and cocoa powder into the brownie batter
- Ensure to fold it till well combined.
- Deposit the brownie batter into an 8x8 x2 lined, baking tin
- Level the brownie using an off-set spatula
- Sprinkle the crumbles on the surface of the brownies tin
- Bake the brownies at 160-170’c for 20-25 mins or till they are fully bake
- Allow the brownies to cool to room temperature in the tin
- Once it’s cool, remove the brownies from the tin and serve the brownies to your guest
Storage and Shelf Life
- To keep the brownies fresh and moist, store the brownies in an air-tight container
- Do note to consume this brownie by 3 days once kept into the room temperature
- Keeping the brownies in the freezer could last brownies for 2-3 weeks
- To enjoy the brownies that is kept in the freezer, simply thaw the brownies from the freezer for 12-15 mins and enjoy the brownies in a semi-cold state .

Ingredients:

| Castor Sugar | 140 gm |
| Salt | 1/2 tsp |
| Group B | Quantity |
| Melted Dark Chocolate Couverture | 160 gm |
| Melted Butter | 100 gm |
| Vanilla Essence | 1 tsp |
| Group C | Quantity |
| Cake Flour | 130 gm |
| Cocoa Powder | 30 gm |
Method:
- In a bowl , using a hand whisk, whisk up the Grp A till the sugar dissolves
- Add in the Grp B and mix well (ensure it’s not hot)
- Lastly fold in the Grp C ingredients
- Line an 8x8x3 inch tray with parchment paper
- Pour in the brownie batter and level out the brownies
- Gradually add in the cookie crumbles at the top
- Allow the brownies to bake @ 160-170˚c for 25-30 mins or till fully baked
- Cool the brownies first before serving to guest
Cookie Crumble

Method:
- In a mixer bowl, add in all the ingredients at once
- Once the texture reaches a crumbly texture, stop the mixing process
- Allow the crumble to rest in the freezer for at least 15-20 mins before using the crumbles.
